Research Overview

As a group we are committed to the use of modern and innovative methods in organic synthesis to provide unfettered access to important natural products and designed molecules. The height of these capabilities is demonstrated by our development of efficient platforms to access structurally complex natural products that leads to optimization and characterization of the compounds’ biological effects. These capabilities also enable the optimization of “simpler” small molecules through medicinal chemistry to improve pharmacodynamic and pharmacokinetic properties.
